Information Commission Holds Monitoring and Evaluation Visit to PPAPP Agency

The Jakarta Information Commission (KI), held a Public Agency Monitoring and Evaluation visit to the office of the Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control Agency (PPAPP).

Jakarta KI Commissioner, Agus Wijayanto Nugroho said today's visit was aimed to submit recommendations for the results of the E-Monev 2023.

"Recommendations for the results of the E-Monev 2023 as an improvement material for the Jakarta PPAPP Agency to the Monev 2024," he expressed, Tuesday (3/5).

He explained that currently, it has entered the monitoring stage, thus visitation activities are prioritized for Public Bodies and are quite informative.

"We came to the public body as an concern for improvement," he explained.

He also assured that Jakarta KI has a responsibility to improve public bodies of better quality, thus they are informative.

"Hopefully, the results of the E-Monev 2023 recommendations will be of concern," he hoped.

His party appreciated the PPAPP Agency which had participated in the entire monitoring and evaluation series and was considered quite informative.

He also hoped that public bodies would focus when filling out the E-Monev Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), as it has significant value, as well as reminding them that Public Information Service reports are submitted to Jakarta KI.

"The substance of the PPAPP Agency's direct services already has added value to be documented as an achievement. However, it is necessary to consult with Jakarta KI support staff," he asked.

Jakarta PPAPP Agency Secretary, Darwoto added the results of the E-Monev recommendations had been accepted as material for improvement.

"Information is very important and our main task is to provide the widest possible information to the public," he stated.
